     City and Vicinity Overview

      Hinesville is located in Southeast Georgia, approximately 40 miles Southwest of Savannah, and is the gateway to Fort Stewart which is home to the US Army's 3RD Infantry Division. Hinesville is also the county seat of Liberty County.
